Residential Assistance Program (RAP)

Residential Assistance Program Grants are available to income-qualified owner-occupants who live in the South Wedge service  area. Grants may be used for single-family homes and owner-occupied houses of up to 4 units . You must provide proof that you own and live in the house. Grants may be used to correct code violations and/or repair structural/mechanical/systems problems that affect the health or safety of the residents or the usable lifetime of the house. The following income guidelines are used to determine eligibility for City of Rochester and NYS Affordable Housing

Corporation grants. You must provide proof of your household income. The NYS Affordable Housing Corporation also requires us to verify your assets.
