ArtsBloom Boomerang Workshop with Ted Baumhauer
at Freak Out Flea Market - 12-1pm
Boomerangs are not just the wooden, two-wing type we typically think of; they come in a wide variety of shapes and sizes. They can be for indoor (safe foam) or outdoor use and can travel from a few feet to the length of a football field and more. Boomerangs are also surprisingly easy to make from cardboard and paper. Making and throwing your own boomerang is a great way for children to learn about flight and gain self-confidence.
Cleanup on the Water
1-4pm
SWPC is participating in Cleanup on the Water, a cleanup initiative that focuses on removing litter from the water and shorelines in Rochester.
Cleanup on the Water focuses on litter removal in Rochester’s waterways and on shorelines - by boat or on foot. Join us to clean up the water in the South Wedge!
