Each year, South Wedge Fest brings our neighborhood to life in a way that truly captures the spirit of our community. From local music and art to food, small businesses, and neighbors gathering together, it’s a day that reflects everything we love about the South Wedge —creativity, connection, and a strong sense of place.

With over 4,000 people attending each year, South Wedge Fest has grown into one of Rochester’s most vibrant neighborhood celebrations. This year, we’re proud to feature more than 70 vendors and over 20 musical and dance performances, showcasing the incredible talent, culture, and creativity that make our community unique. From live music to cultural dance groups, the festival offers something for everyone. One of the festival’s most beloved traditions is the South Wedge Fest Pet Parade, where our furry friends take center stage and bring smiles to attendees of all ages.

We are especially excited to expand the festival’s cultural programming this year thanks to a grant from the Rochester Area Community Foundation. Through their Vitality Grant, we will be bringing an exciting variety of dancers and cultural performers to the festival. We are also grateful for support from Monroe County and the City of Rochester, whose funding helps us continue to grow this event while keeping it accessible and welcoming to all.

South Wedge Fest is more than just a celebration—it is the South Wedge Planning Committee’s main annual fundraiser, and it plays a critical role in supporting the work we do throughout the year. Funds raised through the festival help SWPC provide community programming, neighborhood engagement opportunities, housing stability initiatives, health and wellness activities, and other efforts that strengthen the South Wedge.
